TITLE: Demonology Pt 19

James 1:12-16 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Gal 5:14-17 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulful the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
3 John 9-10 9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
15-3 THE.REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1 Now remember this. Christ in the True Church is a continuation of the Book of Acts. But the Book of Revelation shows how that the antichrist spirit would come into the church and defile it, making it lukewarm, formal and powerless. It exposes Satan, revealing his works (attempted destruction of God's people and the discrediting of God's word) right down to the time he is cast into the lake of fire. He fights that. He cannot stand it. He knows that if the people get the TRUE REVELATION of the TRUE CHURCH and what she is, what she stands for and that SHE CAN DO THE GREATER WORKS, she will be an invincible army. If they get a true revelation of the two spirits within the framework of the Christian church, and by God's Spirit discern and withstand the antichrist spirit, Satan will be powerless before her. He will be as definitely thwarted today as when Christ withstood his every effort to gain power over Him in the desert. Yes, Satan hates revelation. But we love it. With true revelation in our lives, the gates of hell cannot prevail against us, but we will prevail over them.
ENTICING.SPIRITS_ 55-0724 85 He knowed where he was standing, Micaiah did. He had the Word of God. He was a very unpopular man. Nobody liked him because he told the truth. Though they liked his preacher...
Now, another thing that has taken place. I believe and think, that any man that's got an experience with God (or a woman) is bound to get a little emotional. I just believe it. That's right. But you know what? They've adopted emotionalism for the baptism of the Holy Ghost. They just get a lot of noise and there's nothing in it. You live just as holy as you live noisy then you'll be all right. Emotions is certainly all right. Bodily exercise profiteth little, but enticing spirits has got over into the holiness group of people and it's got them to just resting upon because they can shout, or because they can dance, because they can make emotions.
ENTICING.SPIRITS_ 55-0724 90 Amongst a lot of people we find, where emotions and so forth, there becomes tattlings, and backbitings, and all kind of ungodly things. Brother, that's sulfuric acid in the church; it's demon power. Spirit of men and women who get among one another and try to push off and say, "This one's not right, and this one's not right, and that's not right." If you'll chase it down, nine times out of ten, it's the very person making the stir that's not right. Amen. God hates discord among brethren. Be reverent. Be holy. Love God. Stand by Him. And as long as you know your life is divvying up with the Bible with purity of heart, purity of thought, love towards your brother, trying your best to upbuild the Kingdom of God and doing those things, dressing right, living right, talking right, going to right places; then you can have all the emotions you want to, and everybody will believe it.
Jesus said, "You're the salt of the earth, if the salt lost its savour, it's henceforth good for nothing but to be cast out and trod under the foot of man." If you're just salt alone, it's no good. But if you got the savour in it, you'd be salty and the world will be thirsty. You get salty; they'll be thirsty. Oh, my.
Prov 16:27-28 27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
Prov 26:18-22 18 As a mad man who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death,
19 So is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am not I in sport?
20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
21 As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.
22 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
James 3:1-10 1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
THE.SEVEN.CHURCH.AGES_ 54-0512 173 But now wait just a minute. What have we got? Got nothing, no more than they got. That's exactly right. As long as we fuss and stew and carry on among one another, we still walk as men. Until a man can get down at the altar and get right with God, till he can overlook little things and move on like a Christian ought to... Pot can't call kettle black. Right. Don't holler at them. Let's clean our own steps first.
Excuse us, strangers, I'm giving the church a little Gospel spanking now. Notice, that's right. It's exactly what you need.
"Oh," you say, "we got It." And get up there and beat the piano as hard as it can go, and a bunch of drums, and run up-and-down the floor, and go out and fuss with your neighbor. Have you got anything? Oh, no. No, sir. The only thing we got is a lukewarm. As long as the music's running, we're running. When the music stops, we stop. Brother, don't call the other fellow something; let's look around your own door first. Amen.
I tell you we need an old fashion revival like we used to have down in the country, when they laid on their face all night long, not to carry on. But when real godly sorrow, and not go back to the altar and stay, but go out and make it right with the neighbors they had made it wrong with, and get straightened up... You know that's right. Scorching, but, brother, it'll help you. That's right. You've got to know that, my friend. Yes, sir.
1 Peter 3:8-11 8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
THE.COMMUNION_ 57-0418 82 ……And that's the type of the Gospel preacher when he sees that sin has caught his church and caught the people. He takes the blessed old Gospel, the Sword of the Spirit, and he chops it and chops it until he cuts out sin from his church if he's a true servant of God. He removes all the nonsense, the tattling, the backbiting. He moves all of the things and carnal natures of the world that's creeped into the church. If he's a true servant of God he takes the Word and chops it from one side to the other until he's cut everything out.
WHY.ARE.PEOPLE.SO.TOSSED.ABOUT_ 56-0101 16-2 People go to church, and they'll shake your hand in church, and laugh and calling you a brother. Outside of the church, they'd pull a little business deal that wouldn't be just exactly straight for personal gain. I wouldn't say them people are here in the Tabernacle, but I say there is. There's things that people would do, and they get different. A least little thing will bring that old temper back again, that selfishness, open up an ear to hear gossip, or do something of that type. That person has never entered into this pot in here.
They're outside. They're truly eating the same kind of manna. They've been brought into the camp, and that's where--in the camp in the field is where the people got the manna. And they're in there, and that manna that they eat is the same manna this man eats here. They both have the same pastor. They both read the same Bible. But one constantly stays true and humble, and the other one's got his ups-and-downs; a going like this, in and out. Both of them eating the same manna, but one of them has entered in, and the other one is still out. Both of them are believers unto Eternal Life, but one is baptized with the Holy Spirit in the Kingdom of God; and the other one is outside eating the same manna.
HEAR.YE.HIM_ 57-0519A E-30 Now, what do you think today (now just draw it in your minds), how the Holy Spirit must blush when It comes before God to bring the differences, and the isms, and the condition of His children today. When we fuss, we stew, we fight, we argue, we have all kinds of isms, and mix-up; and brotherly love is gone, and all the things that God put in the church, we are riding over it. And what do you think the blessed Holy Spirit does when He comes before the Father? How He must blush to say, "Oh, a... they're not a... doing so well." And remember, the Holy Spirit is honest. He brings a true report. "They're not doing so well. Oh, they're fussing at each other; they don't get along. There's no--there's no fellowship among them; they are jealous of each other." Oh, my.
How that must make the Father feel, when the Tutor has to come and say, "Well, Sir, I--Your--Your--Your child is not doing too good. Oh, he... No, he won't listen to Your Word. That's right. He's got his own ideas. He--he just won't listen at all." How that Tutor must hate to tell a Father, and how the Father would be hurt.
IS.YOUR.LIFE.WORTHY.OF.THE.GOSPEL_ 63-0630E 147 Then you beginning to find, and your patience gets from about that long, till it just don't have no end. Anybody just keeps saying things about you, "Well, I don't care what you say!" Don't get stirred up. If you get stirred up, you better go pray first, 'fore you talk to them again. Yeah. Yeah.
Don't get in fusses. Don't like to get in fuss; if you like to see somebody raise up in church, say, "You know what? I'll tell you, So-and-so did so-and-so."
You say, "Now, brother, shame on you."
148 If you say, "Oh, is that so?" Listen to that scandal? Watch out.
The Holy Spirit is not a cesspool. See? No, no. No, no. The heart is occupied by the Holy Spirit, is full of holiness, purity. "Thinketh no evil, doeth no evil; believeth all things; endureth, long-suffering." See?
CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY.OF.GOD.REVEALED_ 63-0728 84 And now you've got tapes on that. You've got tapes on what we believe. You've got tapes on discipline in the church, how we behave ourself in the church of God, how we got to come here together and sit together in Heavenly places. Don't stay home. If God is in your heart, you can't hardly wait for them doors to open out yonder, to get in here to fellowship with your brothers. If you don't, don't feel that way, then I tell you, it's time you got to praying.
85 Cause, we're in the last days, where the Bible exalted... or exhorted us to--to, "Much more as we see that day approaching," to love one another with Christian love and Divine love, "to assemble ourselves together in Heavenly places and--and--and Christ Jesus," and love one another. "This will all man know you are My disciples, when you have love one for the other." That's right. Stay right together.
86 If the brother, you think he's a little wrong, or the sister, say, "Lord, don't let me never have the root of bitterness spring up, 'cause it'll--it'll affect him, and it'll take the Christ right out of my life." That poison acids of malice, and jealousy, and hatred, that will just take the Holy Spirit right away from you. It will run Him from the tabernacle here. It'll kill the Spirit of God, or drive It away from here, hurt you pastor. It'll do everything. See? Don't you do that.
87 You just wax that much closer together. Draw up the... Take the buckle, as the brother testified, a minister here the other night, about having a buckle, seeing it in a vision. Just... That buckles on the whole armor of God. Just pull her on, tighten up, move right up close to one another. Love one another, anyhow. Talk nice about one another, say nice things about one another, and then God will bless you.
