MY.LIFE.STORY_ 50-0820A E-19 Here's three things that I've noticed in reading of other ministers. If this ever gets ahold of a minister, it's got him. And there's a weak spot: money, women, popularity. That's right. Dodge the very appearance of it. That's right. For money, I care not for it.
I've got a little old fat wife here, that I think's the sweetest woman in the world. That's right. That's right. She's the only one I've ever cared for, and that's--and some little children. When I was a sinner I lived clean, and when I'm a Christian... And for popularity, who am I? Six foot of dirt, that's all: sinner saved by grace. And if it wasn't for God, where would I be? So I... And one of them was money, and the other one was popularity, and women. So I know that Saul fell because of popularity, Balaam because of money, and Samson because of women. So then I know those three things was a hindrance that we must always keep covered up. And money of course, would be the--the greatest. And... or trying to think you're just a little better than somebody else. TO.WHOM.SHALL.WE.GO_ 60-0604 E-27 A lot of people build upon riches. They try to work, see how much money they can make. They say, "If I can't spend it, my children can behind me." What does it do? It re--leads to a slavery; you become a slave to your money. Many people don't maybe...
You don't have to be a millionaire to do that; you can just covet money, and you're just as guilty as the millionaire. See? There's just as many "pennyaires" as there is millionaires will be in hell, because it's your attitude towards it, what God has given you. Now, if you build it upon riches, it'll fall.
BE.NOT.AFRAID_ 60-0717 E-63 …. We've had an hour of prosperity when men made big wages, union, and so forth like that, making big money; the poor people's got it. It's got amongst the Pentecostal people, till there's millionaires and everything in Pentecost which is fine. We... It's for... It's not so much as the down-and-out; it's the up-and-out, too. God's for all, rich or poor, everybody. There'll be just as many "pennyaires" in hell as there will be millionaires.
It's your attitude towards what God give you. Are you willing to use your money for the Kingdom of God?

And that's the only way that a woman ever can commit adultery against her husband, is to first let some man talk her into it and then receive another man that's not her husband. Then she's committed adultery. And when the Bride of Jesus Christ lets man-made creeds and dogmas take the place of the Word of God, she is committing adultery. That is clergy, seducing clergy spirit, workings of devils, hypocrisies in the church, heady, high-minded (wisdom. You see? smart, intelligent), having a form of godliness (just go say, "Well, we're Christians, we should go to church."), having a form of godliness but denying the revelations, the power and the working of the Spirit, from such turn away. ENTICING.SPIRITS_ 55-0724 54 And that's where the world is today. That's where America stands today. That's where the churches stands today. We built some of the best churches was ever built. We've had some of the best polished scholars we've ever had. We've taught some of the best theology and so forth, and learned to sing like angels, but yet there's a weakness somewhere. There's a weakness, because they've gone out after man's doctrine and enticing spirits instead of coming back to the Word of God. They try to make things pattern like the world. They try to put shiny lights over it like Hollywood.
