2 Tim 3:5-9 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
Jer 23:13-14
13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah. Josh 7:14-21 14 In the morning therefore ye shall be brought according to your tribes: and it shall be, that the tribe which the LORD taketh shall come according to the families thereof; and the family which the LORD shall take shall come by households; and the household which the LORD shall take shall come man by man.
15 And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.
16 So Joshua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah was taken:
17 And he brought the family of Judah; and he took the family of the Zarhites: and he brought the family of the Zarhites man by man; and Zabdi was taken:
18 And he brought his household man by man; and Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was taken.
19 And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.
20 And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:
21 When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY.OF.GOD.REVEALED_ 63-0728 401 The prophet Paul said, "In the last days the people would be heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, and despisers of those that are good; heady, highminded, see; having a form of godliness, but denying the Power thereof; from such turn away. For this is the kind that goes from house to house, and leads silly women, led away with divers lusts," with shorts, and bobbed hair, and everything else. "Led away with divers lust, and saying, 'It's all right. Oh, they're crazy out there. Don't pay no... '" See? "Never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth. And these men resisted It, as Jambres and Jannes withstood Moses," able to produce a church, and produce a group of people. Yes, sir.
402 "But their folly will be made manifest," when Jesus takes His Bride and sets Her up here, and said, "This is Her," and away He goes with Her. That's right. And their folly will be made known.
RECOGNIZING.YOUR.DAY.AND.ITS.MESSAGE_ 64-0726M 168 Jesus said, "All this Scripture must be fulfilled." And It is fulfilled.
169 Notice, "As Jannes and Jambres also withstood Moses," he'll come right along, some of them. Not, now, he's not talking about Methodist, Baptist, here; they're out of the picture. See? "But as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses and Aaron, so will they; man of reprobated mind concerning the Truth," been perverted into dogmas and teachings of the church, instead of the Bible.
And then Jannes and Jambres could do anything that Moses could do. See, "as Jambres," see the parallel there?
"As Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these man of reprobate mind concerning the Truth, resist It," won't have It in their neighborhood, won't even co-operate with It, won't have nothing to do with It. But said, "Their folly will be made known." When that Bride takes Her stand and moves up into the skies, it'll be made known, don't worry; like Moses, when he took the children of Israel, and took the flight out of Egypt, and Egypt sunk. All right.
Rom 1:26-29
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
348-1 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9 Now God says they are naked as well as blind. I cannot imagine anything as tragic as a man who is blind and naked and does not know it. There is only one answer--he is out of his mind. He is already deep in oblivion. His faculties are gone, spiritual amnesia has set in. What else can it mean? Can it mean that the Holy Spirit has taken His leave of this last day church? Can it mean that men have put God out of their minds to such an extent that it is happening even as stated in Romans 1:28.
"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient."
It surely appears that something like that has happened. Here is a people who say that they are of God and know God and have His Holy Spirit, and yet they are naked and blind and don't know it. They are ALREADY DECEIVED. THEY HAVE THE WRONG SPIRIT. THE ELECT CANNOT BE DECEIVED, BUT IT IS EVIDENT THAT THESE OTHERS ARE. These are they who have become blind because they refused the Word of God. These are they who have stripped themselves naked by leaving God's care and protection and sought to build their own way of salvation, their own tower of Babel by organization.
Titus 1:15-16 15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
THE.STATURE.OF.A.PERFECT.MAN_ 62-1014M 23-2 But so many of us try to do the works of Christ before the reflection of Christ is in us. Now, there's the trouble. We find those things happening. You know it. I know it. We see these stumbles along the road. We find the scrap heaps of ministers, of Christians, piled along the road. Is because they didn't go into it right.
And that's why I'm here this morning, is to try to teach this little church, and myself, how that we can become the dwelling place of the living God. How many'd like to be that? The dwelling place of the living God...
YOU.MUST.BE.BORN.AGAIN_ 61-1231M 129 Now, false teachers will bring false births. True prophets will bring the Word, the birth of the Word, Christ. False prophets will bring false birth, the birth of churches, the birth of creeds, the birth of denominations. And here you are, Pentecostal brother, false sent--or sensations, and tell a man he's got the Holy Ghost 'cause he speaks with tongues. I've seen devils speak with tongues, pencils lay down and write in unknown tongues. That don't mean a thing. See, it's got to be a life: by their fruit you shall know them. "Brother Branham, do you believe in speaking in tongues?" Yes, sir. "You believe in shouting?" Yes, sir. To be a Christian, I believe that. I believe God's Word. But if the life isn't there to back it up...
GOD'S.CHOSEN.PLACE.OF.WORSHIP _ 65-0220 109 And then we're promised the same thing in this day, Malachi 4, "To turn the hearts of the children back," to say that He is not dead, these things are not for another age; baptism in Jesus' Name was not for back there, but He is now the same. Amen. To bring to naught all other places of worship, that's what the last-day eagle is to do, to show that all the rest of it is foolishness, denomination is folly, but to point them again with the same sign that he did, that He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hallelujah! 356-1 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9 Now let me say this here. I don't believe that God is calling only to the false church to repent. In this verse He is talking to His elect. They have some repenting to do, too. Many of His children are still in those false churches. They are those of whom it speaks in Ephesians 5:14, "Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light." To be asleep is not to be dead. These are sleeping amongst the dead. They are out there in the dead denominations. They are floating along with them. God cries out, "WAKE UP! Repent of your folly." Here they are lending their influence, giving their time and their money, actually their very lives to these antichrist organizations, and all the while thinking it is all right. They need to repent. They must repent. They need to have a change of mind and turn toward truth.
THE.GOD.OF.THIS.EVIL.AGE _ 65-0801M 174 He said the antichrist would raise up and almost deceive the Elected if it was possible. But said, "Let them alone. Let them go ahead. Their folly will be found out." Why? The Word test proves it. See?
When it come to that Word, "That had been back this way, that? Oh, I don't believe in serpent's seed. I don't believe in this, that, and the other." It's never been revealed, see, no, never. Oh, brother, just look where...
THE.ANOINTED.ONES.AT.THE.END.TIME_ 65-0725M 153 Did Moses fuss at them and say, "Here! Here! You can't do that. I'm the only one been ordained to do that. Here! You stop that, right now"? He just let them go.
Let them go on. Remember, the Bible said, "As their folly was made manifest, so will these in the last day be made manifest," when the Bride is raptured and taken into the sky. Notice….
156 Notice, they did the same thing, just as Moses did, until God got enough of it.
Now remember, it's THUS SAITH THE LORD, it'll come to pass in this day. Now, search over the world; take every cult, take every clan, take every man, take every church! I charge you, in Christ's Name, to do this, you preachers. I charge you to read the newspapers or take consideration anywhere you want to go, and see if it isn't on the earth right now. See?
Then, Matthew 24:24 is exactly right. "False, anointed ones will rise in the last days, and will be false prophets, and shall deceive many." Watch it in the types now, as it comes now, see, "Shall deceive many." "Prophets," plural; "Christs," anointed's, plural; many different ones, the Methodist, you know, and Baptist, and the Pentecostal, and so forth. See?
But there is one genuine Christ, Spirit, and that's the Word made flesh as He promised to do it.
Now we'll move on just a little further, to some more Scriptures.
157 Until, God got enough of it, then it was over. Their folly was made manifest.
A.GREATER.THAN.SOLOMON.IS.HERE_ 58-0625 E-68 "Brother Jones, move away tomorrow at two o'clock, it's going to happen." All right, he moves away, it happens. Fine, we thank the Lord, go on. But what if it don't happen?
Now, there's a evil spirit among them. They don't get that no more till they pray that thing away. They... I said, "You don't want that spirit on you. You don't want no folly, you don't want no hoax, you want the real Holy Ghost, or don't pass any at all. There you are.
Put your church in that kind of order, watch what Pentecost rises to. See? It's... That's the way Paul had it done. That's the way it's done in the Scripture. But just not while somebody's speaking, one raised up and speak in tongues, go to make an altar call, another one speaks in tongues, no interpretation, to... Well, that's... No wonder it's Babylon. You've got something real, and the outside world's a hungering for it, but not the way you're giving it to them. That's right. They long to find God.
TOKEN_ 63-0901M 177 Magicians tried to do the same thing, the impersonators. You always find them. There was Jannes and Jambres, they stood there. But when it come to the real thing, they didn't have it. That's right. They followed along, a little while. But, after a while, their folly was made manifest.
178 And don't the Bible say the same thing will happen in the last days, "as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses"? But their folly was made manifest, and so will it be again. See? There it is, man of perverted minds, reprobates concerning the Truth, the Fact. They might have congregations and great things, and great, high, big flowery things, but the hour will finally arrive.
179 Stand steady with the Token! That's what God wants us to do. Hold to His Word. Don't move from It. Stay right with It. The Bible has said so.
180 Death was striking. God had showed them mercy, showed powers and signs.
